Projects & Partners

The Greater Stellenbosch Development Trust focuses on sustainable projects. Where needed we also find partners for projects, rather than try to duplicate activities and capacities which are available at close hand.

Each of the projects is autonomous to an important extent. Each project has a strategic and operational plan, a budget, a bank account, a project manager and a managing committee, to which each project manager reports.

We work with the needy and consequently there are necessary elements of charity in our activities. However, the projects of the Trust are principally concerned with producing measurable results in the long run. The aim of the projects is, among other things, to make a significant contribution to the solution of problems in the greater community.
